Jordal, Jorge Vidal’s nickname, Madrid, 1977.
Formed on Audiovisual Communication (UCM); actively participated in theater groups (CITEC) and Fine Arts, while filming Short Films and drawing Comics.
Start to work in 1999 at MOLINARE (Madrid) as Production Assistant, he enrolled the CINEMA SCHOOL (ECAM), developing the 35 mm 2d Short Film “Life five minutes later”.
By the end of 2002, he joined the Graphic Department of Via Digital, TELSON, as llustrator and digital composer through Autodesk Combustion and After Effects also working as Storyboard Artist for the motion picture "Light Hours", directed by Manuel Matji, produced by SOGECINE.
On 2004 he starts working as Flame and Smoke Artist, first in IMAGEN LINE and later in MAC MASTER, on suit advertisement company (manily for Garnier brand).
On 2006 he co-writes and shoot his first long feature: “Instructions for a New Life”, founding the production company SOLOMIREN for that purpose.
From 2012 to 2015 he moved to Lima, Peru, working as Vfx Supervisor at ATOMICA, company from Chile, making commercials on Flame Premium workstation.
Since 2015 works as Nuke Artist at international Vfx Companys as MPC, U-MEDIA, El Ranchito, Jellyfish Pictures, and animation studios as SPA, Core Animation or Cartoon Saloon.
He has work as Vfx compositor on films as "A Royal Affair" ( Denmark, nominated Oscars 2013), "The Martian" , "A Monster Calls", “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales“ , TV series as "Game of Thrones" (season 6), “Avatar: The Last Airbender” (season 1) or first Netflix animation long feature: “Klaus” (nominated Oscars 2020).
As trainer he also develops tools and workflows, being creative learning and teaching an important role in his career.
